| Project 9: The 1st GMA Self-sufficient farm support project

1. Project Background
Agriculture is the backbone of Pakistan’s economy, contributing substantially to GDP and providing employment for a large portion of the population. It ensures food security for the nation and plays a crucial role in poverty reduction.
• Economic Self-Sufficiency :
The development of the agricultural sector can increase farmers’ incomes and reduce poverty. Farming is the easiest way for ordinary people to become economically self-sufficient. Pakistan’s vast land provides ample opportunities for ordinary people to earn money.
• Wheat, Cotton, and Livestock Farms :
Agriculture requires a long-term commitment. We aim to start with wheat and cotton farms, gradually expanding to include livestock farming (cattle, goats, and poultry) to create a Saemaul Undong-style model farm where ordinary Pakistanis can achieve economic self-sufficiency.
• Expected Outcomes :
Through this community farming project, we aim to demonstrate to the Pakistani people that farming can be a sustainable and profitable way of life. By participating in the farm community, members can escape poverty and secure their livelihoods. Additionally, we hope to provide free meals to children from orphanages, hostels, and dormitories who rely on external support.

| Project 10: The 2nd GMA Microcredit Startup Support Project

1. Project Background
It is a financial service that provides small loans with little or no collateral to low-income individuals and small businesses. The goal of microcredit is not only to lend money but also to empower the poor and promote economic self-sufficiency.
• Economic Context :
We are living in the digital age. Pakistan, while striving to emerge from developing country status, is entering an era where computer usage is becoming essential for economic activity. Although computers are necessary, their widespread availability is limited, forcing many to rely on computer repair shops. Moreover, due to the underdeveloped public transportation system, motorcycles are a popular and affordable mode of transportation in Pakistan, creating a demand for motorcycle repair services.
• Business Model :
Startup founder will make monthly repayments to fully reimburse the startup funds within 10 years. Once approximately 30-50% of the startup funds have been recovered, GMA will provide additional funding to support the launch of a second venture. The focus will be on collaborative businesses that involve multiple individuals rather than sole proprietorships.
• Expected Outcomes :
This initiative is expected to generate jobs and increase income levels. Not only will the entrepreneurs benefit, but also their employees and their families, contributing to economic independence. Furthermore, the entrepreneurs’ efforts to establish multiple ventures will significantly contribute to the economic development of Pakistan.
2. Project Details
• Target Beneficiaries : Establish a motorcycle repair shop or a computer repair shop
• Funding Goal : 5,000,000Won for startup costs
• Expenditure Item : Lease or purchase a business space and purchase necessary equipment

| Project 11: Pharmaceutical Aid Project for Patients in the Sahara Region

1. Project Background
Many patients in Africa are forced to rely on medication for treatment due to a shortage of hospitals and medical staff. However, the poor have difficulty purchasing medicines. There is a shortage of pharmacies and other medical facilities, as well as facilities for safe storage of medicines. Due to the lack of basic infrastructure such as roads and communications, medicines cannot be supplied on time and properly.
• Disease Situation :
The demand for medicines has surged as chronic diseases such as AIDS, malaria, and tuberculosis have increased. The African region near the Sahara Desert, in particular, is an endemic area for malaria, with millions infected each year. AIDS has infected a significant portion of the African population, causing a major socioeconomic impact, and tuberculosis also has a high incidence rate.
• Relief Request :
We have been inundated with requests for medical supplies from several countries near the Sahara Desert, including Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Mali, Morocco, and Niger. While we have explored the possibility of sending medical supplies, numerous challenges have emerged, such as complex customs procedures in each country, poor road conditions, inadequate storage facilities, and the risk of medication damage and degradation due to high temperatures. As a result, we have decided to provide financial assistance to enable these countries to procure the necessary medical supplies locally.

| Project 14: Emergency Food Aid for Extremely Poor Households in Pamir, Tajikistan

1. Project Background
• Many young people from [Your Region] have gone to Russia in search of work, often incurring significant debt to finance their journey. Unfortunately, a vicious cycle of debt accumulation is common, as many are unable to repay their loans and end up borrowing even more. Additionally, job insecurity and wage theft are prevalent issues, with many workers unable to find employment or being denied their rightful earnings. Tragically, some workers suffer severe injuries on the job and are forced to return home without any compensation. The arduous nature of the work often leads to long-term health problems.
• In Pamir, there are families struggling to support their grandchildren after their sons, who had gone to work in Russia, tragically died in a workplace accident while working on a roof. Other families have faced similar hardships, with family members returning from Russia with severe injuries or disabilities. For instance, one individual lost an eye and developed severe leg swelling while working in Moscow. Another grandmother is now raising her granddaughter after losing both her sons and daughter-in-law.
• Countless families return to Pamir, worn out by hard labor and illness, only to find themselves unable to afford medical treatment. Tragically, many families have lost children under mysterious circumstances. Some women have lost their minds from grief after losing two children. The lack of electricity and water during the winter makes survival even more difficult. Due to limited shops, the variety of food is restricted and prices are 1.5 times higher than in Dushanbe. We urgently request monthly support of food and essential items such as rice, laundry soap, cooking oil, flour, and tea. These families need a warm meal and a chance to experience happiness.
